I’m just a red blooded American who loves to BBQ. I’m the owner of a BBQ establishment in Texas (which will remain nameless) and also have had the opportunity to meet with and tour the facilities of BBQ pit manufacturers throughout the southeast as a result of one of my other businesses.

Like many pitmasters I found myself regularly digging through numerous online BBQ forums looking to see pictures of everyones most recent cooks. I even posted pictures of my home cooks from time to time to see what everyone thought but I knew there had to be a better way. That’s why I launched the @BBQPictures twitter account almost a year ago to seek out and retweet BBQ pictures from around the world.

We now receive hundreds of pictures a month from our fantastic followers and make weekly posts to our website to recognize the top three pictures we receive from any given week.
